Weekend Campout near Albert Pike

November 30, 2021May 10, 2020 by kristina

One hundred and seventy steps off from forest road 512, there is a campsite at the confluence of the Little Missouri River & Long Creek. The campsite is at a turn and river crossing on the Eagle Rock Loop trail so hikers frequently walk through camp. Some of them need directions. Most of them say “hi”. One of them asked for some napkins. It’s a beautiful spot.

Quotes from Growing a Business by Paul Hawken:

If you have a business idea, "try it out on friends. If they say you have a wonderful idea, you may be in trouble: an idea everyone recognizes as great has probably arrived on the scene too late. But if your friends look confused and shrug their shoulders, things are looking up."

" A ready supply of too much money in start-ups tends to replace creativity…Companies without money dream and imagine."

"...these companies survived the upheavals of the marketplace... because they had 'being' goals instead of 'doing' goals. Their business was centered on a way of interacting with the world, not on providing one specific product or service."

"Small businesses, at least entrepreneurial ones, are formed in order to address problems that money alone cannot solve."
